There were many pieces that came together to make this site sing, but at the core, it’s success hinged on creating a cohesive and flexible system for a large and ever-changing brand.
When we designed the Raley’s homepage three things were important: personalization, online shopping and the flexibility to handle constantly changing marketing promotions. Oh and a sprinkling of their warm, neighborly brand.
We worked with the internal team to bolster their brand with new typography, a deeper color palette, fresh illustration styles and a homey set of patterns.
We crafted spot illustrations for the website to soften the tone, add a depth of color, and communicate complex concepts in small spaces.
We re-imagined Raley’s email marketing system. We developed a custom onboarding campaign and ongoing customer marketing to be cohesive with the new online shopping experience.
